Welcome to Bromborough Flowers Ltd. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and services. By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

2. Orders
2.1 Placing an Order
- Orders can be placed online, over the phone, or in person at our shop.
- It is your responsibility to ensure that all details provided during the order process are accurate, we will not be held accountable for incorrect information provided.
2.2 Special Occasions
- For busy periods such as Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, and Christmas, we recommend placing your order well in advance to avoid disappointment.
2.3 Availability
- All products are subject to availability. In rare cases where specific flowers or items are unavailable, we reserve the right to substitute them with similar products of equal or greater value.
3. Pricing and Payment
3.1 Prices
- All prices are displayed/quoted in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable as we are a VAT registered business.
- Delivery charges are calculated based on location from the business registered premises and will be added at checkout unless free delivery applies. We reserve the right to amend our pricing and/or delivery charges periodically and as we see fit without any required pre-notice to the customer.
3.2 Payment
- Payment must be made in full at the time of placing your order unless otherwise agreed.
- We accept major credit/debit cards through secure payment gateways for orders placed online, and telephone orders. For orders in person we accept major credit/debit cards and cash.
4. Delivery
4.1 Delivery Areas
- We primarily deliver to Wirral, Merseyside, and some areas of Cheshire.
- Nationwide and international orders/deliveries are fulfilled by Direct2Florist. Please see section 4.6 regarding the terms for these deliveries.
4.2 Delivery Charges
- Delivery charges vary depending on location from our registered address.
- Free delivery is available for specific local areas near our shop. We reserve the right to remove this as we see fit, and accordingly define what we believe quantifies as ‘local’.
4.3 Delivery Times
- We deliver Monday to Saturday during our normal opening hours.
- Not delivery will be made or promised outside of these times, unless we give prior consent.
- Same-day delivery is available for orders placed before 2 PM, subject to availability. *We reserve the right to refuse same-day delivery or remove the facility if it is logistically difficult to promise this service in times when workloads are busy, or delivery slots are full.
4.4 Missed Deliveries
- If the recipient is unavailable, we will follow any specific instructions provided or attempt redelivery. Please refer to our our delivery terms of which you agree to when placing your order. Details of these terms can be found here.
- Redelivery may incur additional charges.
4.5 Local Florist Deliveries
- Delivery for orders within our specified delivery areas will be completed by ourselves as contracted by Bromborough Flowers Ltd.
4.6 Direct2Florist Deliveries
When you place an order for delivery outside of our local delivery area, Bromborough Flowers Ltd utilizes Direct2Florist, a network of independent florists. The following conditions apply to these orders:
- Contract:
When you buy products through our website you enter into a contract with Bromborough Flowers Ltd and not Direct2Florist. Bromborough Flowers Ltd agrees to supply you the products in line with these terms and conditions, utilizing Direct2Florist as an agent facilitating the sale of the products of which you will pay a service fee payable to Direct2Florist for the service administration. - Delivery:
Delivery is arranged by the local florist assigned by Direct2Florist network based on your instructions. - Acceptance:
Your order will be confirmed when you place the order and pay for the product and Bromborough Flowers Ltd agrees to these terms and conditions. - Flowers and other Products:
Flowers and other products may vary slightly from their pictures. The images of the flowers and other products on our Website are for illustrative purposes only. Flowers are different from different suppliers and Bromborough Flowers Ltd cannot therefore guarantee that the flowers supplied by the local florist will be the same in appearance as those in the pictures on the Website and may therefore vary slightly from those images. The local florist may also need to make minor adjustments to the flowers supplied due to seasonal variations or availability. - Any questions or complaints about the flowers or other products should initially be directed to Bromborough Flowers Ltd.
- These terms do not affect your legal rights as a consumer.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
5.1 Cancellations
- Orders can be canceled up to 48 hours before the scheduled delivery date for a full refund.
- For cancellations made within 48 hours of delivery, we reserve the right to charge for any costs incurred including flowers that have been ordered in advance specifically that were made to facilitate your original order.
5.2 Refunds
- Refunds will be issued if the product is damaged upon delivery or if there is a failure to deliver due to our error.
- Personalized or custom-made floral arrangements are non-refundable unless faulty.
- We do not issue refunds if the recipient has failed to collect their flowers from a neighbour or safe place, please refer to our delivery terms.
- Due to the nature of flowers classified as a perishable product and under UK law, there is no specific legal requirement for how long flowers should last, however if you have concerns on the freshness or quality of flowers received then we ask you discuss this with us as soon as possible.
- To request a refund or report an issue, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery.
6. Consumer Rights
We comply with the Consumer Rights Act 2015. All flowers and products sold by Bromborough Flowers Ltd are:
- Of satisfactory quality
- Fit for purpose
- As described on our website
If there is an issue with your order upon delivery, please contact us within 24 hours so we can resolve it promptly.
7. Distance Selling Regulations
For online orders:
- We provide clear information about products, prices (including taxes), delivery charges, and total costs before purchase.
- Personalized or custom-made floral arrangements are non-refundable unless faulty.
- As flowers are perishable goods, they are exempt from the standard 14-day cooling-off period.
8. Substitutions
We reserve the right to substitute unavailable flowers with similar ones of equal or greater value, maintaining the style and quality of the original design as best as possible.
If the style is likely to be significantly different from that of which you purchased due to supply chain issues, then we will aim to contact you prior to discuss your options which may include, a refund, an amended delivery date or acceptance of substitute flowers.
9. Click & Collect
We offer a Click & Collect service:
- Orders can be placed online, over the phone, or in person.
- Collection is available during our regular opening hours from our shop.
10. Use of Our Website
By using our website(s), you agree not to misuse it for unlawful purposes or attempt unauthorized access to its systems. Content on this website is owned by Bromborough Flowers Ltd and protected by copyright laws. 11. Liability
We are not liable for:
- Delays caused by circumstances beyond our control.
- Damage caused after delivery if flowers are not cared for as instructed.
- Variations in flower arrangements due to substitutions or natural differences in blooms.
Our total liability in connection with any order will not exceed the price paid for that order less any reasonable recovery of associated costs.
12. Insurance Coverage
Bromborough Flowers Ltd maintains public liability insurance, product liability insurance, and goods in transit insurance to protect our customers and business operations. Details can be provided upon request.
13. Privacy and Data Protection
We comply fully with GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. For details on how we handle personal data, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
14. Advertising Permissions
Any outdoor advertising displayed by Bromborough Flowers Ltd complies with local council regulations.
15. Music Licensing
We hold a valid music license from PPL PRS Ltd for playing background music in our shop.
16. Environmental Responsibility
We strive to minimize our environmental impact by responsibly disposing of floral waste via an approved waste disposal company, and using sustainable packaging where possible.

18. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
